Our commitment
SimVeritas is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard across this website.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the standard.
The following features are implemented to support accessibility:
- Skip-to-main-content link as the first focusable element
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
- ARIA landmark roles: navigation, main, footer
- Mobile navigation menu with correct ARIA state management (aria-expanded, aria-controls, Escape key to close)
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG AA requirements for all text
- Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion media query — all animations are disabled for users who have requested reduced motion
- Minimum 44×44px touch targets on all interactive elements
- Semantic heading hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3) on all pages
- Form inputs with associated labels and accessible error messages on all authentication forms
- Decorative images and icons are hidden from assistive technology
Known limitations
We are actively working to address the following known gaps:
- Some third-party components (Radix UI) may have accessibility characteristics outside our direct control. We monitor these for updates.
- Screen reader testing has been conducted with VoiceOver on macOS. Testing with NVDA on Windows is ongoing.
Technical specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (React / Next.js), WAI-ARIA.
